The Mudd subscribes to many indexes to articles in journals and other periodicals. Begin researching this multi-disciplinary subject by using EbscoHost. This is a host for many indexes in many subject areas.

Begin by throwing a wide net and choosing:

  • Academic Search Premiere
  • America: History and Life
  • Music Index Online
  • RILM (a comprehensive music bibliography)

Search terms may includes musicals, theatre, the title of the show, rock musicals.

Keep in mind that you will be searching both popular and scholarly sources, and each database will use its own vocabulary. Try searching both Select a term (Optional) (Keyword) and Subject fields.
