Tests and measurements are survey tools that gauge certain traits, aptitude, habits, or needs. This guide provides titles and links to resources that are good places to start your search for general information about testing and tests, and will help you identify tests on particular topics, information about tests (including reviews), and locate full text copies of tests.

You may want to begin with the American Psychological Association Science Directorate: Testing and Assessment, a guide to commonly-asked questions on testing. See especially the Frequently Asked Questions and the list of Links to Other Testing-Related Sites

In addition to the resources described in this guide, books in the Mudd Library will provide further information on tests and related topics, for example, cultural and social issues related to testing. Search the library catalog using the Browse Search and looking By subject for psychological tests.
